‘Lapwing’ is a limited edition hand printed linocut artwork. The feathers have been hand finished with mica powder to reflect their gentle iridescence. It is inspired by the lapwings seen regularly on walks at Keyhaven Marshes in the New Forest.
 
This print has been created with hand mixed oil based relief ink and handmade Japanese acid free paper.
 
The dimensions of the print are 20cm x 15cm. The dimensions of the paper are 29.5cm x 21.5cm.
 
Each image is hand printed and is therefore completely original. The charm of this technique is the individuality that it produces in texture and colour and will always be limited to a small print run.
