Kate Smith is a printmaker working out of a studio on the edge of the New Forest. Kate is a self-taught artist who has been printing and teaching for 5 years. Her love of bold colour and detailed mark marking gives her a varied style; moving between detailed one block prints and colourful multi-plate images.

She loves exploring the New Forest where she takes inspiration from  the unique wildlife, plants and trees of the National Park. Kate also teaches a range of workshops and courses around Hampshire and Dorset. Her sessions allow her students the time and space to relax and play with print in small, friendly settings.
